Sameer pampering his buddy Eli.

One of Eli's favorite resting spots.

Auntie Robin arrived from Denver.

We spent many mornings walking the beaching and sitting by the ocean.

Eli is starting to smile now and is so cute.

He loves to be outside and feel the wind.

He became quite attached to his Auntie Robin.

Eli is growing well and is about 22 inches long now.  We are having so much fun with him.  We have really enjoyed all of his visitors as well.
Eli hopes that his grandparents will visit again soon!

Adam calming Eli while we are out to breakfast at the Sunflower Bakery.

Lynnie and Ella are never more than a few feet from Eli.
Lynnie would constantly cuddle with Eli if we let her.

He is so long.  This is his favorite sleeping position.
Aunt Emmy came to visit Eli for the weekend.

If Aunt Emmy was awake then Eli was cuddled in her arms.

Aunt Emmy got Eli his first swimsuit.  We will be using it a lot in this hot Texas weather.

Eli was sad for Aunt Emmy to leave.

We get so hot on our walks that we have to lay out to cool off.

One look from that face and I melt.

We met Rachel in Houston so she could visit with Eli.

He is changing everyday.  He still likes to do something with his hands at all times.

Grandpa Esham holding his first grandchild.
Eli is mesmerized by Grandma Esham

I think Eli would be happy if you left him in the water all day.

I'm impressed!  I have not mastered reading and holding Eli at the same time yet.

Debbie did a great job of spoiling her grandchild.

Grandma Champagne's last day with Eli before she made the trip back to Ohio.

Eli's grandmothers were determined to get him to smile.

I couldn't believe he got those rings and was pulling on the elephant.  He is already very clever.

Dad's evening routine.

Maybe he is going to model.

Eli could have slept there all day.

He is completely relaxed during his bath.

We had such a good visit.  It was hard to say goodbye.
